3 Things To Add To My August To Do List!

Happy National Day! Did you take a leave tomorrow like i did, to cheekily get a long weekend out of it? I’m hoping to make the most out of the upcoming month – here are the things i hope to get done!

Not sure if you are feeling or seeing it too, but the eco-friendly movement has been on a high rave these past few months. I have seen people put in good changes to ensure that they are minimizing the harm they put on the environment (yay, go you!). So, to do my part, this month, i would try my best to incorporate eco-friendly changes to my daily routine. My first step towards change would be purchasing a reusable cup to replace my styrofoam cup during my teh tarik runs! Eager to be part of this amazing eco-change too? Look out for a blog post later this month to see what are the small baby steps that you can take to save the environment!

This month, i would also want to bump up my count of finishing great fiction books for the year. Over the past month, i have watched an alarming amount of book-tube vlogs and came up with a wish-list of books that i would want to get through. I am currently devouring through “Salt To The Sea” by Ruta Sepetys which has an amazing storyline that follows 4 individuals during World War II. I will also write a blog post later this month to share on my current TBR (To Be Read) pile, so do look out for that if you got an itch for reading!

Personally, i have been on a TV series drought for the past months, with most of my favourite shows only coming out in October (yes, i am talking about you – Greys Anatomy and AHS). Despite so, a great one like Orange Is The New Black is like an oasis, saving me from rewatching old reruns of HIMYM and Friends. If you have not watched it, you need to! It has 6 seasons so far and it tackles alot of sensitive issues such as women treatment in prisons which i find very interesting. So, that’s another thing to tackle this month – to finish up OITB!

What are you up to this month?
