Hi guys! New week, new post – and today i want to share my current top 3 books!
One thing you should know about me, is that i am an avid bookworm. Mom introduced me to books at the age of five and i have been constantly reading ever since. I love enjoying a good mix of genres, jumping from cookbooks to travel guides, to fantasies, to romance!
The first one that i would like to talk about is “Get Gorgeous : A Beautiful, Confident you in 21 days” by Christel Vatasso and Pascal Loperena.
I bought this book during my holiday in London at Urban Outfitters and it covers various aspects on self improvement such as clothes, skincare, hair, make-up etc! My favourite parts in this book include the wardrobe basics, how to construct a quick 10 min make up routine and the interviews from experts within the fashion industry.

In 2016, i was pretty determined to incorporate health and cooking. So i gave The Lean Machine’s Eat Well, Move Better and Feel Awesome book a whirl!
I had so much fun with this book. The recipes in their book are pretty easy to follow and ma shaa Allah, so sedap! I made tons of things from their book, such as the beef chili (below), protein balls and steak wraps! Pretty fast & easy, especially on the days when you want to pack lunch from home 🙂
Apart from the awesome recipes, they also included a work out section which includes visuals on how to do exercises properly (for eg. squats & planks) and also work out plans that you can follow. They helped me improve my exercise greatly!

And finally, Jamie’s Comfort Food Cookbook. This bad boy, you just have to get! I, for one, am not a health junkie and want to learn to cook as much as i can, no matter how unhealthy it is (oops guilty!). The recipes are abit more harder to follow compared to the Lean Machines’, but they are pretty good! I made tons of cakes, fried chicken, vanilla ice cream (!) and his version of Nasi Goreng (not too bad!). It is a hunk of a book. but it contain so much goodness from cover to cover.

Mannnn, all that talk about food is making me hungrrrrreh! I will stop here for now. I hope you will give these books a chance and i hope you will enjoy them as much as i do!
Till next time! 🙂
